Renaissance Faire is July 31st
A day trip back in time will happen at Claudia Driscoll Park in Hamilton Saturday July 31. The Hamilton Players host an epic re-imagining of an historical Renaissance Market Place, with costumed vendors, specialty handcrafts, traditional food, demonstrations, hourly performances, and games. Lords, Ladies, wenches, pirates, even a woodland fairy or two will be in attendance. For the adults - a beer and mead garden called the Pirates' Booty. Families will have games and activities throughout the day. The event schedule is coming soon. Tickets will be Adults $4, Children under 12 $2.50, and families $15. If you've purchased a ticket to a Hamilton Players production, and could come an hour early to the show, you could become one of the volunteers who keep theater alive in Hamilton! Even if you haven't purchased a ticket, you can volunteer at Hamilton Playhouse. Click here for more information. Costumes Anyone? The Players are also raising money for an Annex to the Playhouse. The main purpose will be to get our collection of costumes out of the basement of the building and into an efficient space so that we can easily access them and also rent them to the general public. We'll also use the space to store sets and other props. Contributions of $225 or more will place the sponsor's name on a large brass, lighted, plaque on an Honor Wall in the theater.
